There is much to enjoy in and around south Delta. The communities of Ladner and Tsawwassen - each distinctly different in character - offer a wide selection of restaurants, shopping and services. Dyke trails and public parks provide access to river, marshland and ocean scenery. The George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary is located across the bridge on Westham Island. Every second Sunday, June to September, popular Ladner Village Market opens up to foot traffic only. Centennial Beach offers trails and shoreline, sand and vistas to all who are drawn to the ocean.
